TVOD at Transition Galllery

Last Friday Paul Kindersley's TVOD opened at Transition Galllery, Bethnal Green.

Our painting 'Mum' was featured.

Grimes and Jones attended the private view and had the pleasure of meeting lots of questionable people.

Pictures of the fun inside the gallery are viewable here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cathylomax/5458333407/in/set-72157625962396319/

After the event we were invited (kidknapped) by photographer Joe Duggan and Paul Kindersley.

They took us to Joe's Hackney studio where two new paintings, 'East' and 'Chocolate Symphonytits' were created.

It was an eventful evening and we are very, very sorry.

Model Behaviour

We spent a whole day smiling and behaving properly.

Why i hear you ask?

Because we had a photo shoot by the wonderful Italian marvel: Iliana Matarrelli .
We brought props, whilst she brought a camera and lots of patience.
There are bruised fruits of our painful labour, but you cant see them because of legal reasons.

(Thats a lie, its because we are launching an awful website soon, and you need to have something to look forward to. Like you will).

Here is a sample of what to expect though:

Earls, Piss, Wankers & Dicks.

We don’t believe in social realism; everything is stupid.
The way we interact and the daily tasks we set ourselves are just means of occupying our time. Some people might frown on others for not embracing their responsibilities – other people might have great fun not doing so. Such is life, and such is our art. We don’t want to work, we don’t want to follow strict practice and achieve technical grace with paintbrushes and education.
We do as we want, and out of this mess our message, and art is born.
Here is our soup of the day -

Man's best friend (Dogs & Dicks) - 2011

Acrylic, oilstick, collage and wax on canvas.

Life without Wanker E+ - 2010

Acrylic, oilstick, spray paint and collage on canvas.

Red Piss - 2010
